Trainer Bio:

Hi! My name is Rachael and this is Brandy! This is a great opportunity for both of us! Brandy is a sweet and smart filly. My goals for this year is to gain her complete trust, prepare her past expectations, and expose her to more than she’d ever need for her future. I would also love to find her an amazing home. Wish us luck on our journey!

Brandy is doing amazing! It has been about a month and she has come such a long way! With every day, she is more curious and willing to do just about all I ask of her. She already knows a lot of showmanship. She can lunge, trailer, bathe, get saddled, and she is starting to get clipped. I am taking her to a show at the county fairgrounds this weekend where she will stay for three days. She is a very intelligent and I can’t wait to see what else we can accomplish!

Brandy is doing great! At 4-H pre-fair we got a blue in ground training! She was amazing and so calm. First time she was in a arena with lots of horses, she was a little scared, but she got over it quickly. Yesterday was her first trail ride and not a single thing bothered her! We walked into knee deep water and she loved it! This weekend she is camping out with my other horse and I at a NYRA Rodeo in Vancouver. I’ve also been working on leadless showmanship and she’s been great! Here is the link to our facebook! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Brandy-the-Mustang/1425318867740042

Brandy has been doing great! Words can not describe how smart she is. I took her swimming the other day and she loved it! She would follow me into the water then make a little lap and I’d let her pull the though the water. When we went camping at the rodeo they had some trail stuff scattered around so I took her through all of it and she did it without hesitation! She was a little upset being left alone at the trailer, but a hay bag took care of that. This weekend we will be competing in our county fair. We will be doing ground training and in-hand trail! Wish us luck!

Brandy has been an amazing show horse! At our county horse fair, Brandy received a medallion in both classes she was in! We will be competing this weekend at State in Ground Training and In-Hand Trail. Brandy also stayed at the Benton County Fair for three days visiting with the public who came to see her. She loved every minute of it! Everyone playing with her made her a little mouthy but we quickly fixed that. I’ve been taking her to different trail courses, walking through different water boxes, cowboy curtains, and many other obstacles! We also took her to a little trail show and she placed second in our division! She does perfect turns while practicing showmanship and is very responsive working on trail obstacles. I love this horse to death and it been great to be part of her journey.
