Trainer Bio:

Meet Clipper! He is a gelding from the South Steens Herd. This far he has already proven to be extremely intelligent and willing to learn. He try’s hard to understand and seems to think about what I’m asking and try his best. I can’t wait to see his journey and progress. My goal for Clipper is to give him a solid foundation so when adopted out he can be as successful in his new home as possible. I am excited to be a part of his journey!

Clipper has been making wonderful progress these past few days and continues to learn every day and also add some humor to my day. He’s finally starting to grasp showmanship maneuvers more completely. With a little more practice he will be a pro. He is EXTREMELY desensitized, I cannot emphasize that enough. Clipper approaches his fears rather than spooking really making him a joy to train. As he’s gotten more comfortable I’ve seen more and more of his personality. He plays with everything and is extremely curious and personable. Clipper is a gorgeous mover as well and for the little horse he is can cover ground on the lunge line. More pictures, updates and adventure will be posted on his Facebook page Clipper the Mustang.

As I begin to count down the days for the competition Clipper is continuing to make lots of progress! He’s now comfortable meeting other people. He took some convincing and was weary of others but now he wants to make friends. His showmanship maneuvers are getting better and so is his attitude about training! He’s very eager to see me and now greets me at the door! Clipper has furthered his personality as he is continuing to get braver. He likes to investigate everything. I’m enjoying all my time with him and excited to see his future and who will be his lucky adopter!

Clipper continues to improve day by day. He is so comfortable with everything and approaches things with curiosity. His showmanship is getting better and better and he continues to try his hardest for me. He’s shedding out his winter coat and his unique Champagne Touché color is really starting to show. Clipper is such a sweet boy and I can’t wait to see who gets this sweet boy
