Jessica & Hershey

My Colt is a bay pinto named Hershey when he was still in the wild. I think I’ll keep his name. He’s 3 years old, and was very suspicious and scared upon arrival, but I’ve been taking my approach slow, and he’s learning to trust and is very sweet. He’s very smart and retains what he learns each session very well.
Hershey is doing his best. He is very sweet, loves ground work and liberty work. He is a very trusting young horse, and works very hard for his handler. He has been slow to saddle start, as he is mentally immature, he’s just a three year old, and for some mustangs, that’s still an immature age. I’m as much just going at his pace, so that what training he does have is solid and ready for his future adopter
