Trainer Bio:
Maggie is a brown paisley dessert filly. She is an amazing horse to work with and train. She is so sweet, gentle, and willing. She is incredibly smart and I couldn’t have asked for a better yearling. This is my third year competing in Teens and Oregon Mustangs and she is way farther along then my other two horses were at this point.
Here is the list of things she has already done and can do:
•stick haunch turns
•stick forehand turns
•trot from the walk
•trot from the standstill
•lunge
•set up
•side pass
•wore a bareback pad + saddle
•be groomed/ pick her feet
•been ponied
•gets turned out with my other two horses
•bows
•stands tied
•walks over tarp/ lets me put the tarp on her
•wore a blanket
•takes baths
•plays with a big ball
Maggie is so cool! She is now able to sit on a hay bale, lay down, and flex like a dream! She is so soft in the face! She is also leading/ trotting from the on/offside. All her previous skills have became so much better too. She has also been traveling everywhere! She has gone to the fairgrounds multiple times and to my friends place. Never once was she worried. Can’t wait to see how she does at the competition!
Maggie now is not only sitting on a hay bale but also sitting on the ground! She is so mich fun to work with!!
I just love this horse! Every time I turn her out she always will walk up to me and follow me around like a little puppy! She’s so cool! Someone is going to be very lucky to own this amazing horse! She will make anyone happy!
