Trainer Bio:
Bentley and I are making slow but steady progress. He is a very cautious horse and in the long run that is going to provide an amazing trusting bond. I have not gotten his tag off yet, since he is so cautious we are taking things very slowly. He is a gorgeous bay roan with a vibrant red under color, he is going to be a gorgeous boy!
Today Bentley made a huge leap of faith! Today he finally let me get his tag off. I think we have started our breakthrough and I am looking forward to being able to complete our training.
After only two weeks of true trust from this horse I am already in the saddle! Tomorrow (1-18-17) will mark our first ride after sitting on him today. I am truly amazed at this gelding’s trusting but cautious nature.
Bentley has been making amazing progress, he now w/t/l and we are working on lead changes, pivots, and correct stopping. He is also learning how to lie down on command. Can’t believe how much progress he has made!
